Kitty’s Party – Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using the services of Kitty’s Party (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all bookings, quotations, purchases, prop hire, event styling services, and party supply orders unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Our Services

Kitty’s Party provides event styling and party-related services including, but not limited to:

  • Balloon styling and installations

  • Backdrops and prop hire

  • Event setup and pack down

  • Themed party styling

  • Photo booth hire

  • Party supplies and decorations

  • Delivery and collection services

Service inclusions are limited to those specified in your quotation or booking confirmation.

3. Quotes and Bookings

Quotes are valid for 2 weeks unless otherwise stated.

A booking is not confirmed until:

  • the required booking deposit has been received; and

  • you have received written confirmation from Kitty’s Party.

Dates cannot be held without a confirmed booking.

4. Booking Deposit and Payments

A booking deposit is required to secure your event date.

Booking deposits are non-refundable, including where the client chooses to cancel the booking or no longer requires the services.

The remaining balance must be paid by the due date advised in your booking confirmation. In some circumstances a full payment may be required prior to the event date, we will advise you before the event if that is the case. 


Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.

5. Changes to Bookings

Requests to change the event date, venue, time, guest numbers, package inclusions, or other booking details must be made in writing.

While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes, they are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

If the requested changes require additional labour, materials, travel, or equipment, additional fees may apply.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

If you cancel your booking:

  • the booking deposit is non-refundable;

  • any products that have been custom-made, personalised, or specifically purchased for your event are non-refundable;

  • where work has already commenced or expenses have been incurred, Kitty’s Party reserves the right to recover those costs.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably practicable.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring:

  • accurate booking information is provided;

  • the venue is available at the agreed setup and pack down times;

  • adequate space is available for the booked services;

  • suitable access is available for delivery and setup;

  • electricity is available where required;

  • any venue approvals or permissions have been obtained;

  • the venue is safe for our staff to perform the booked services.

Delays caused by venue access restrictions or inaccurate information may result in reduced setup time or additional charges.

8. Weather and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Outdoor events are directly affected by weather conditions. Indoor events can also be affected due to resulting traffic conditions and/or access to the venue.   

Kitty’s Party is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by weather, venue restrictions, power failures, road closures, government restrictions, emergencies, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Where possible, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative.

9. Hire Equipment

All hired items remain the property of Kitty’s Party.

The client is responsible for hired equipment from delivery until collection, including damage resulting from weather conditions when in possession of the equipment.

The client agrees to take reasonable care of all hired items and ensure they are not misused.

The client may be charged for repair or replacement costs where equipment is lost, stolen, damaged beyond normal wear and tear, or not returned.

10. Balloons and Decorations

Balloon displays are temporary decorative products.

Factors including weather, temperature, wind, sunlight, venue conditions, and handling may affect the lifespan and appearance of balloons.

Kitty’s Party cannot guarantee balloon longevity after setup has been completed.

11. Delivery, Setup and Collection

Delivery and setup times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, venue access, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Collection of hired items will occur at the agreed time unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Additional charges may apply where collection is delayed due to venue restrictions or client requests.

12. Photographs and Promotional Use

Unless you advise us in writing before your event, Kitty’s Party may photograph or video completed event setups for use on our website, social media, advertising, and other promotional material.

We will take reasonable care to avoid identifying guests unless separate permission has been obtained.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during the booking process is used for managing bookings, communicating with clients, processing payments, maintaining business records, and complying with legal obligations.

Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kitty’s Party’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Australian Consumer Law

These Terms are subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Changes to These Terms

Kitty’s Party may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to new bookings from the date of publication.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
